CANDICE THE STRATEGIST
Creative influence strategy

For brands people need to
trust before they choose.

I'm Candice. I'm a social, creator, partnerships, and integrated strategist working across culture, influence, and complex categories. This is how I think, what I've built, and the work I care about.

  • Who should be involved.
  • What each person or partner is there to change.
  • What the audience needs to understand, believe, or do.
  • What the campaign or program needs to prove.
  • What has to hold up across creative, review, and performance.

The work

Before the visible campaign.

I use research, market signals, audience behavior, competitive context, and partner mapping to help teams decide what needs to change, who people already trust, what the brand is asking them to believe or do, and which partners should be involved.

That can mean deciding:

  • What a creator, affiliate, ambassador, expert, publisher, or partner should be responsible for changing.
  • How commission, flat fees, access, content, and support should match each partner’s role.
  • What the audience needs before they will buy, return, recommend, subscribe, donate, or participate.
  • What claims, proof, disclosures, or review requirements need to hold up.
Where I work

Brands and programs where trust shapes the decision.

That usually means healthcare, consumer health, clinical beauty, wellness, supplements, premium DTC, retail, affiliate, advocacy, and other high-consideration categories. Industry matters less than the level of judgement, I'm there to provide

Patient, advocate, HCP, expert, caregiver, and community-informed work where credibility, review, and context matter.

Selected work

What changed, and what happened next.

Selected cases across healthcare, DTC, retail, affiliate, ambassador, expert, advocacy, community, and corporate partnership work.

$1.2 million secured in 12 months

The organization signed its first single-sponsor agreement above $300,000, and every major corporate relationship expanded.

The problem. The organization needed corporate revenue large enough to change its operating capacity, but the existing sponsorship model did not give corporate contacts enough business value to secure larger commitments, expand the relationship, or make renewal easier.

What I changed. I rebuilt the function around modular partnerships, internal corporate champions, audience and research value, employee participation, account growth, and renewal.

Creative within bounds
The creative gets weaker when teams define the bounds too late.
Change

What needs to change for the business, audience, or relationship?

Job

What is this partner responsible for doing in the program?

Value

What does the partner contribute, and what do they receive in return?

Strategy

I think about the decisions that shape the campaign before the content gets made.

Claims, source roles, audience behavior, platform expectations, review, and creative ambition all affect what a campaign can become.

Much of my work has focused on figuring out how those pieces fit together so patients, caregivers, experts, creators, and publishers can still sound like themselves after approval.

How I think

The best social strategy starts before the brief is finished.

I’m interested in the questions underneath the deliverables: who people trust, what they already believe, what role each source should play, where the conversation is already happening, and what the brand can credibly add.

That thinking shows up across my client work, writing, research, and frameworks like Creative Within Bounds.

What I work across

The areas I work across, and what I bring to each.

Social and creator

Casting, partner roles, and campaign structure built around who an audience already trusts..

Partnerships and programs

Affiliate, ambassador, advocacy, retail, and corporate partnership systems built to hold up year round..

Integrated strategy

Audience, offer, claims, review path, investment, and measurement decided together instead of in sequence..

Complex and regulated categories

Healthcare, consumer health, clinical beauty, wellness, and other places where credibility and review shape the work..

Writing, talks, and notes

What is influencing people, and what that changes about the work.

WIP is where I write about what is influencing people and what that changes about marketing strategy, creators, affiliates, platforms, casting, claims, review, partner roles, and campaign decisions.
